Summer is my favourite time of year. Mostly because of the ice-cream. So I designed these fun, summer-themed graphics that you can use for your crafting projects during the sunny season! Create gift tags, embellish giftwrap or treat bags, or use them as decorations or invites for your ice-cream socials and other summer parties. The possibilities are endless! Simply print onto thick, glossy photo paper, cut out and use.
Obviously the tools you will be using is dependent on the project you will be tackling. However, above are some of my favourite crafting tools…
- For creating gift tags I use a 1/4 cm circle hole punch to create the hole to attach the twine.
- I love creating vintage style plastic labels with my Motex label maker! So much fun and easy to use. The tape comes in a variety of colours.
- A scalloped circle craft punch works well if you want to take a ‘bite’ out of your popsicles!
- Black and white twine- simple and classic.
CONSTRUCTION TIPS
I have used a ‘Canon Pixma MG6150 Colour Inkjet Printer’ in conjunction with ‘Canon 275gsm Photo Paper Plus Glossy II’. This photo paper is awesome- it’s thick, strong and super glossy! It also doesn’t have a watermark on the back so it’s great for gift tags.
Note: Always make sure to set your printer output settings to ‘high’ for the highest quality print
