Well hello November! October has flown by. Hope you had a nice Halloween!
New month, new free desktop wallpapers (with or without November calendar) as well as matching iPhone (4 and 5) and iPad (standard, mini and retina) wallpapers! As last time, I used a few cliparts from The Ink Nest.
This month's wallpaper includes the quote "the best is yet to come". I wasn't sure whether it was an encouraging, uplifting, empowering quote or not. I've been wondering: if we constantly tell ourselves that the best is yet to come, is there a chance that we passively wait for that "best" to come, without building it? Is there a chance that we keep hoping for more, for better, instead of enjoying the moment and what we already have? But I ended up thinking that believing that there are better things ahead of us doesn't mean we can't seize the day and be thankful for the present; that having faith in a better future doesn't mean you're not willing to work to achieve it. Actually, I think hope is motivating. What do you think? Do you find this quote encouraging or counterproductive?
